🎙️Hey everybody, welcome to the podcast, I’m Nick and it’s spectacular to be here with you today. Today is February 9.
Each day, we follow a simple rhythm: Slow Down, Read, Notice, Reread, Meditate, Respond, and Exercise.
Let’s begin.
Slow Down
Jesus is glad you are here.
He longs to spend time with you.
He wants to be in your presence.
He loves you.
Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, then slowly release it.
As you inhale, whisper: “Lord, feed me.”
As you exhale, pray: “With Your will.”
Do this three times, then sit in silence for a few moments.
Read
But Jesus replied, “I have a kind of food you know nothing about.”
“Did someone bring him food while we were gone?” the disciples asked each other.
Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.”
(John 4:32–35, NLT)
Notice
What stands out to you in this passage?
Is there a phrase that surprises or challenges you?
Hold it in your heart for a moment.
Reread
Hear the words again slowly, listening for what Jesus might be saying to you personally.
Meditate
Jesus’ nourishment came from doing the will of God and finishing His work. This shows us that spiritual fulfillment isn’t found in comfort or ease, but in active obedience. The fields are already ripe — meaning opportunities to serve, love, and share the Gospel are all around us right now. Delaying only risks missing the harvest God has prepared.
Take a few moments to reflect on this question:
Where is God calling me to act now, and am I willing to step into His harvest today?
Respond
Lord, give me the hunger to do Your will and the courage to step into the harvest.
Exercise
The rush of life will meet you again when you leave this sacred place—but you can carry this moment into your day by forming new habits.
Habit: Worship & Gratitude
Write down three things God has done for you lately. Keep the list in your pocket or on your phone. Throughout the day, take moments to read it and thank Him again. If you encounter someone who’s discouraged, share one of your items to remind them of God’s faithfulness.

That’s your two minutes with Jesus for today.
Now, take what you’ve heard… and live it.
Until next time, keep slowing down, keep listening, and keep walking with Jesus.
