Hey everybody, welcome to the podcast, I’m Nick and it’s spectacular to be here with you today.

Each day, we follow a simple rhythm: Slow Down, Read, Notice, Reread, Meditate, Respond, and Exercise.
Let’s begin.

Slow Down

You are stepping into a sacred space with the intent of meeting with Jesus.
He wants to meet with you and spend time with you.
Take this moment to slow down, quiet your mind, and prepare your heart to connect with Him.
Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, then slowly release it.
As you inhale, whisper: "Jesus, the evidence is clear."
As you exhale, pray: “You are my God and my King."
Do this three times, then rest in His presence.

Read

Jesus replied, “It is written in your own Scriptures that God said to certain leaders of the people, ‘I say, you are gods!’ And you know that the Scriptures cannot be altered. So if those people who received God’s message were called ‘gods,’ why do you call it blasphemy when I say, ‘I am the Son of God’? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world. Don’t believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work. But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.”
(John 10:34–38, NLT)

Reread

Listen to this passage again and notice what Jesus says about evidence.

Meditate

Jesus makes a remarkable offer: don't believe me — believe the evidence.
He's not asking for blind faith. He's not saying: just trust me and stop asking questions. He's saying: look at what I've done. Follow the evidence. Let the works speak.
The religious leaders are ready to stone Him for claiming to be the Son of God. And Jesus responds with a careful, reasoned argument from their own Scriptures. If God called certain leaders "gods" in the Psalms — people who received His message — then why is it blasphemy for the One the Father set apart and sent into the world to say "I am the Son of God"?
But then He does something even more striking. He says: "Don't believe me unless I carry out my Father's work. But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done."
He's pointing them to the evidence. The blind see. The lame walk. The dead are raised. The hungry are fed. The broken are restored. These aren't tricks. These aren't coincidences. These are the works of the Father — done through the Son — and they are the evidence that Jesus is exactly who He claims to be.
This is an invitation to intellectual honesty. Jesus isn't threatened by questions. He's not asking us to check our minds at the door. He's saying: look at the evidence. Follow it where it leads. And when you follow it honestly — when you really look at what He did and who He was — it leads to one conclusion.
The Father is in Him. And He is in the Father.
Take a few moments to sit with this question:
Have I honestly followed the evidence about Jesus — or have I been avoiding conclusions I'm not ready to act on?

Respond

Jesus, the evidence points to You. The works You did, the life You lived, the death You died, the resurrection that followed — it all points to You as the Son of God. I choose to follow the evidence. I choose to believe. You are my God and my King.

Exercise

The rush of life will meet you again when you leave this sacred place—but you can carry this moment into your day by forming new habits.
Habit: Follow the Evidence in Your Own Life
Today's habit is an act of personal reflection: identify one piece of evidence in your own life that points to Jesus being real, present, and active.
Not a theological argument. Not something you read in a book. Something personal. Something that happened to you — a prayer answered, a moment of undeniable grace, a time when God showed up in a way you couldn't explain, a change in your life that only makes sense if Jesus is real.
Write it down. Be specific. Name the moment. Name what happened. Name what it meant.
Then ask yourself: Am I living like this evidence is real? Am I building my life on what I've seen — or have I filed it away and moved on as if it didn't happen?
Bring it to Jesus and pray: "Jesus, I remember when _________________. That was evidence of You — real, undeniable, personal. I don't want to forget it. I don't want to explain it away. I want to build my faith on the evidence You've already given me. Help me to follow that evidence all the way — into deeper trust, deeper obedience, deeper relationship with You."
Then share it. Tell someone today — one person — about that moment. Your personal evidence. Your story of what Jesus has done.
