They didn't ask Him to teach them to preach. They didn't ask Him to teach them to heal or perform miracles. They asked Him to teach them to pray. Because they watched Jesus pray and saw something they didn't have—a connection, a depth, an intimacy with the Father that was unlike anything they'd ever witnessed. And Jesus gives them a template. Not a script to recite mechanically. Not a formula to perform. A framework to inhabit—a structure that shapes how we approach God and how we live our lives. Through guided meditation, discover the profound movement of this prayer. It begins with God: "Father, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon." And finally to our protection: "Don't let us yield to temptation." We acknowledge our weakness. We stop pretending we're strong enough on our own. We ask for God's strength to carry us through what we cannot face alone.
